The high temperatures create the need more and more to use the air conditioner in all the houses they have, a fact which, in addition to the cost, makes the atmosphere of the house difficult. On the other hand, not all homes have air conditioning.

So what can you do to keep your home cool without air conditioning?

Keep the curtains closed

Having the curtains of your rooms closed may have less natural light in the house but you gain in coolness, since the temperature of the house is kept at lower levels. At the same time, try to keep the door open for a while to allow air to circulate.

Limit the use of electrical appliances

If you can, for example, reduce the operation of your kitchen or iron as they emit a lot of heat and high temperatures that make the atmosphere even more difficult. If you have the opportunity, for example, leave too much ironing for a day with less heat.

Lower the awnings at sunset

Prefer to have the awnings lowered at the time when the sun "hits" in your house, but in the afternoon and in the evening, raise them so that fresh air and coolness enter the house. This will ventilate your home and create a gentle stream of coolness.
