In occupied Famagusta, 10-year-old Joseph Joseph, known as "Sifis", was arrested by the pseudo-police on Wednesday afternoon (1/40).
According to information, Sifis was arrested armed, in possession of pistols and a large number of bullets.
According to an announcement by the pseudo-police that was published in the Turkish media, yesterday, after a search of a house in occupied Famagusta, two 9 mm pistols and 100 bullets were found. The 40-year-old was then arrested while the false police continue the investigations.
The 40-year-old was wanted by the Republic of Cyprus for facilitating investigations into the attempted murder of Nikos Rodotheos in the Hilton area of Nicosia and illegal drug possession.
However, steps are expected to be taken by the Republic of Cyprus for its surrender, however it is considered difficult due to the situation in the occupied territories.
It should be noted that the authorities had turned the search towards the occupied areas and it was considered certain that the 40-year-old wanted person had taken refuge there.
It is recalled that on December 4, a search was conducted at the home of the wanted person.
