A car accident happened today at noon in Avgorou with the 27-year-old driver being treated at the Hospital for mainly precautionary reasons.
Specifically, around 12:00 noon, a 27-year-old from Vrysoules, a distribution employee at a private company, was driving the minibus owned by the company in which he works on the Avgorou-Xylofagou road in the direction of Xylofagou.
According to the Police, at some point on the road and under conditions which are being investigated by the Police, the 27-year-old lost control of the car, as a result of which he overturned in an adjacent field and came to a standstill, as shown in the photo provided by Famagusta.News .
The driver was taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta where he was detained mainly for precautionary reasons, since his health condition is not in any danger.
The Xylofagou Police Station is investigating the causes under which the accident took place.
