The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Giannis Karousos, stated in his statements: "The participatory budget of Ayia Napa, the first to be implemented in Cyprus, gives the right to citizens and organized groups to submit proposals and in this way to participate in the selection process. projects. Tenders will soon be announced for 2 other proposals of organized groups, the Parents' Association of the Ayia Napa Primary School and the Provincial Hoteliers Association, said Mr. Karousos.

The Mayor of Ayia Napa also stated that the new call for interest - proposals for the participatory budget of 2019 will be announced in October. "The participatory budget is the proof that when we design and implement together we can achieve a lot," concluded Mr. Karousos.
