Three people, aged 22, 28 and 24, were arrested yesterday by the Police, to facilitate the investigations regarding the investigated case of alleged kidnapping of a 25-year-old in Ayia Napa.
The case was reported to the Police, in the early hours of May 7, 2019, by a friend of the 25-year-old. According to the complainant, around midnight on 6 to 7 May 2019, the 25-year-old contacted her by phone, who allegedly told her that while he was in an open area in Ayia Napa, two men forcibly put him in a car and took him to unknown place.
On the afternoon of May 7, the 25-year-old returned to his home, where he was located by the Police.
From the examinations carried out, testimony was obtained against three persons, aged 22, 28 and 24 years. Arrest warrants were issued against them, under which they were arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
