As reported in Capital.gr, Haris Koureas, representative of the investment company M.M. Makronisos Marina Ltd, which implements the development, the prices increase depending on the number of bedrooms that do not exceed four. For the villas that will be implemented in the residential area of ​​the marina, the starting prices are 4,5 million.

The first phase of the project, with a budget of 86m euros, includes the construction of a marina with a capacity of 600 berths, port projects, basic infrastructure and building facilities.

The second phase, recently assigned to TERNA, includes two 27-28 floor towers approximately 115 meters high, with a total area of ​​28.000 sq.m. and 30.000 sq.m. respectively. They will house luxury apartments, a residential complex that will consist of 29 villas with a total area of ​​16.500 sq.m. approximately, as well as a shopping center with a total area of ​​more than 8.000 sq.m.

At the moment, as Mr. Koureas explains, the earthworks and creation of the peninsula on and around which the project will be developed are in progress.

"All port and infrastructure projects are being carried out. The construction works started in October 2016 and are being carried out according to the schedules. The first phase, ie port and infrastructure projects, is expected to be completed in June 2019. The Ayia Napa marina will be able to receive boats and provide all the necessary services in the summer of 2019. It also aims to be ready and the commercial zone in 2019. The completion of the project is expected in 2021 ”he notes.

"The sales, which started at the end of September 2016, exceeded our expectations," says Mr. Koureas.

"55% of the east tower has been sold, while sales are also made in the villas. The buyers come from Cyprus but also from Russia, Lebanon, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and other foreign countries ", he adds.

The project, according to Mr. Koureas, will upgrade the tourist product of Ayia Napa and Cyprus, being an "international magnet".

"Given the political developments in the Southeastern Mediterranean and the international situation, Cyprus has the potential to attract high-level investors for level projects, such as that of the marina of Ayia Napa, which has already changed the data of the province of Famagusta and has put it on the map. of high investments ”he concludes.
