In his statements, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, described the image of last weekend as very encouraging and said that "it makes us optimistic that a large number of domestic tourists will prefer Ayia Napa for their holidays".
"Ayia Napa has always been in the preferences of the Cypriots and we believe that this will happen now, the first picture is already very positive and encouraging."
