The Police proceeded to 50 complaints all over Cyprus for the movement of pedestrians or vehicles, from 1800 yesterday until 0600 today, in a total of 3.046 checks, for the observance of the decrees against the spread of COVID-19 in Cyprus.
According to the Police, 1.009 checks and 12 complaints were made in Nicosia. In Limassol, 959 inspections and 17 complaints were made. In Larnaca 319 inspections and 5 complaints were made, in Paphos 197 inspections and 8 complaints, in Famagusta 106 inspections and 2 complaints, in the area of Morfos 190 inspections and 3 complaints.
The Traffic Police Headquarters carried out 225 inspections for movements and three complaints on a nationwide basis. MMAD carried out 41 pan-Cypriot inspections and no complaints.
During the same period, 918 inspections were carried out in Cyprus with zero complaints.
In Nicosia, 309 inspections of premises were carried out, in Limassol 117 in Larnaca 212, in Paphos 155, in Famagusta 65 and in the area of Morphou 60 inspections.
