Police Chief of Famagusta George Economou was promoted to Officer I. The promotion was announced by the Minister of Justice after the recommendation of the Chief of Police and has retroactive effect from December 18, 2019.
The promotion of Sozos Kaimakliotis, Assistant Police Director of Famagusta, as well as Lefteris Christodoulou, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Headquarters, was also announced.
