The contracts for the landscaping of the Deryneia-Paralimni roundabout were signed between the Municipality of Deryneia and the company L&L Earthworks Contractors LTD.
The works will start immediately and the duration of the landscaping works is expected to last about 6 months.

The roundabout, which is the largest in all of Cyprus with an area of 6.500 square meters, will consist of the master plan with a metal structure that will symbolize the present, past and future, while it will have plants and lighting that will beautify the landscape.
The Roundabout as mentioned by the Mayor of Deryneia is a reference point of the Province of Famagusta, as it connects the 5 Municipalities of the Province, Ayia Napa, Deryneia, Paralimni, Sotira and occupied Famagusta.
On his part, the Mayor of Paralimni, expressed his joy for the work done by the Municipality of Deryneia, and wished that in the future there will be more cooperation between the Municipalities to upgrade the quality of life of the residents of the Province.
It is worth noting that the Roundabout belongs 80% to the Municipality of Deryneia and 20% to the Municipality of Paralimni.
