A 47-year-old foreigner, who was abducted by a car yesterday Saturday in Paralimni, is being treated in a serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit of the Famagusta General Hospital.
According to the Police, around 14:30 yesterday at noon, a car driven by a 74-year-old Greek Cypriot on Protaras Avenue, heading towards Paralimni, at a point of the road where there is a pedestrian crossing, seems to have hit and dragged a 47-year-old foreign woman, who was crossing the road from left to right according to the course of the car.
The 47-year-old was transported by ambulance to the TAEP of the General Hospital of Famagusta where she underwent the necessary examinations and computed tomography and was found to have a fracture in her left arm and leg, pelvic and waist fracture.
Her health condition is serious but stable and she is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital.
The 74-year-old driver of the car underwent an alcohol test with zero indication.
The causes of the accident are being investigated by the Paralimni Police Station.
