Work is underway for the Famagusta District Court. The new building, which will be located on Giorki Papadopoulou Street, was visited today by the Minister of Justice, George Savvidis, together with the Chief of Police, Cyprus Michailidis, in order to be informed by the contractor about the progress of the works.
The cost of the new building of the District Court of Famagusta is expected to reach € 6m. under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice and Public Order, the bids were announced in May 2017, the project started in August 2018 and the expected completion date is June 2020.
At On February 4, 2019, the cornerstone was laid of the new District Court of Famagusta by the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis.
