"He left for the neighborhood of angels at the age of 87, Nikolas Makronisos.
Nikolas Makronisos is a part of the great history of our group since his offer and action in the UNION began at the age of 16, taking part as a regular member in a General Assembly.
At the age of 22, he was elected a member of the Board of Directors for the first time.
He was the Collector of the seven-member Board of Directors which then consisted of the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Collector and four councillors.
He was a member of the Board of Directors in four different decades, those of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
