Remedica ENP returned to the victories, beating APOEL 80-70 in the "Paralimni Hall", in the context of the 17th game of the OPAP Basket League. The "purple", which is in 4th place in the standings, reached 24 points and increased their difference from APOEL, which with 20 points is on the sixth step of the standings.
Titus Robinson emerged as the MVP of the match with 23 points (12 rebounds).
APOEL started the game with five points from Gilbert (5-0) at 1 ′, with the Union at 4 ′ taking the lead in the score with Ingram's two-pointer (7-5). The baskets of Robinson and Koumi in the last seconds of the first ten minutes brought the 17-9 for the team of Paralimni.
In the 18th minute, the "purple", after five consecutive points of Robinson, increased the difference in their favor to 14 (37-23), with APOEL completing the second half with five points and reducing to 37-28 at the end of the first half.
At the beginning of the third quarter with two baskets by Robinson the difference reached a double-digit number (41-28). The 14 points separated the two teams in the 28th minute with a three-pointer by Ferguson scoring 51-37, with APOEL reducing three-pointers by Koilaras and Kouna to 51-43 at the end of the third period.
The fourth ten minutes proved to be the most productive, with both teams achieving a total of 56 points. The Union reached 29 against 27 of APOEL and got the pink card with a final score of 80-70.
