Vaccination to prevent the transmission of smallpox to animals took place yesterday in Rizakarpaso, while the occupied authorities called and informed the farmers of the area.
The vaccine was reportedly administered in an area of 5 square kilometers, which was quarantined. Officials briefed breeders on measures to be taken against the spread of the infectious disease and what they should look out for. Among the measures is a ban on the sale of animals from the area.
Special carpets have also been installed for cars entering and leaving the vaccinated area to avoid the risk of transmitting the disease.
