The children of Sotiras 50st Primary School paint the occupied homeland on the occasion of the XNUMXth Anniversary of the Invasion and Occupation.
The Association of Parents & Guardians together with the students and the teaching staff of the First Primary School Sotiras, have proceeded to create and print a calendar for the year 2024 with the theme "1974 - 2024 50 Years of Invasion and Occupation" - The children draw the occupied homeland .
On the pages of the diary have been placed paintings from the group work of each section of the school's students and photos from the occupied homeland as well as murals from the school.
All proceeds from the sale of the calendar and the contributions will be used to purchase and install 11 air conditioners in the school's classrooms. According to the Parents' Association, those who wish to support and in turn strengthen this effort can do so by purchasing the calendar.
The price for each calendar is €7.
Supporters of this effort are the Municipalities of Sotiras and Ayia Napa and sponsoring companies from the province of Famagusta.
