It was signed on Monday, November 15, 2021 by the President of the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) Mr. Antonis Antoniou and the President of the Famagusta Tourism, Commercial and Industrial Society (TEVEA) Mr. Petros Petrou, Memorandum of Two Synagnos Onerganos.
For a wider and more efficient representation of the companies of the Province of Famagusta and after the establishment of the OEM Famagusta Committee for all its Members in the region, OEB has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with TEVEA.
The Famagusta OEB Committee, which will be the link between the Famagusta District companies and OEB, will consist of TEVEA members, OEB members operating in the Famagusta province and OEB members operating anywhere in Cyprus and wishing to offer through the Famagusta OEB Committee.
The Commission will handle issues of a purely local (provincial) nature, will receive secretarial support and services from the headquarters of OEB, will ensure close contact / communication with the Members of OEB and its Associations in the province of Famagusta, will promote various means and actions networking among the Members, will undertake the liaison with local Bodies of the province and promote to them issues of interest / concerning the businesses of the province of Famagusta, will organize / arrange meetings / meetings, will participate and / or will represents OEB in local events (business and social), Committees / Institutions of economic and tourist nature, etc.
With the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation OEB - TEVEA, the members of TEVEA will have the opportunity to receive services from OEB. This event strengthens the companies - members of TEVEA and at the same time strengthens the most effective promotion of all issues concerning the companies of the province of Famagusta.
