A cold-blooded murder of a Greek Cypriot was committed tonight at 20:40 on Tuesday (1/3) in the village of Pyla.
Unknown or unknown set up a death cartel on the man, who was shot.
The victim is George Georgiou, otherwise Tsikito (Stotsis), about 40 years old. The victim was killed at the entrance of Pyla, an area inhabited only by Greek Cypriots.
He had parked his car near his home, which is located right on the main Avenue of the Gate, and was heading to the entrance of his house when he was shot.
His death was instantaneous.
The residents of Pyla express fears for a cycle of blood that is now beginning.
The scene has been blocked by the United Nations and the Republic Police, which is conducting an investigation.
Medical examiners Nikolas Charalambous, Sophocles Sophocleous and Angeliki Papetta, who are conducting an autopsy, also went to the scene of the murder.
