The District Court of Famagusta yesterday issued a six-day detention order against a 23-year-old from Avgorou to facilitate the police investigations into investigated drug possession cases.
According to the Police, yesterday morning, members of YKAN searched the house and the field with properties owned by a 23-year-old from Avgorou, based on a court warrant.
During the search, four precision scales with traces of cannabis and cocaine, about half a gram of cocaine, and about 60 grams of cannabis were found.
The 23-year-old was arrested for spontaneous offenses and then appeared before the Famagusta District Court in Paralimni, which ordered his six-day detention.
