With two festive events for young and old, the Municipality of Sotiras puts us in the spirit of Christmas, with the Christmas Illumination on Sunday, December 7 at Sotiras City Hall and with the Christmas Square on Saturday, December 20 on Sotiros Street.

Christmas Illumination of the Municipality of Sotira
The Municipality of Sotira enters the spirit of Christmas for good from December 7 with the established Christmas Illumination that is scheduled for Sunday, December 7 at 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm at Sotiras Town Hall.
During the event, Mayor Sotiras will announce the start of the festive events, in an evening which will be dedicated to young and old.
At the City Hall, kiosks will be set up by almost all the Schools and the Organized Savings Ensembles, which will sell or offer various products or entertain the children, with the proceeds going to support either the Organized Ensembles or the Parents' Associations of the Schools. .
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy songs from the choirs Children Municipal Choir Sotiras, Adult Choir Sotiras, Little Rebetes and Gatehouse Singers, while the Lighting will be enriched musically by the Melizona Paralimon Philharmonic Orchestra.
At the same time, various delicacies and drinks will be offered, such as mulled wine, donuts, cotton candy, popcorn, marshmallows, chocolates, sweets and much more!
Santa Claus will also visit the place, who will distribute gifts to the children.

"Christmas Square" Sotiras
A day dedicated to Christmas will have the opportunity to spend young and old who will visit the Christmas Square Sotiras on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 2 pm to 6 pm.
The whole center of Sotira (Sotiros street) will put on its festive clothes and will welcome the young and old friends, who, as every year, this year will be in the spirit of Christmas for good.
Young children will have the opportunity to be entertained with various toys, such as inflatable, puppet show, train, motorcycles, children's constructions, face painting, balloon constructions, Santa Claus who will distribute gifts and be photographed with the children, while in our company will be Dora the Explorer with her boyfriend Butch.
At the same time, songs from choirs, dances and songs from bands will be presented at the event.
Almost all the Organized Ensembles and Schools of the Savior will set up their kiosks offering various gifts and delicacies to strengthen their funds.
