TAE Larnaca, after information it had proceeded to arrest 3 people. Among them seems to be a paid killer from Russia, who may be related to the "Tsikito" murder. The other two persons, expatriates from Russia, are allegedly involved in cases of witness threats.
The suspects approached him on different dates and urged him not to testify in two criminal cases, which are being tried before the Permanent Criminal Court of Larnaca - Famagusta and the Permanent Criminal Court of Nicosia.
The four people urged Ellinopontios not to testify as a witness and after giving him a large sum of money to leave the territory of the Republic of Cyprus. Yesterday, Ellinopontios met with the fifth person, who was unknown to him, and showed him a bag with bundles of 500 euro banknotes, telling him that this would be his reward if he agreed with their proposal.
