The "fire" report was handed over to the Attorney General today by the three criminal investigators, in relation to the corruption case in the Police, which stems from the fiasco with the Serbian executors and the quadruple murder in Ayia Napa.

The report of about 100 pages would be handed over to the Prosecutor yesterday, but due to the illness of one of the three criminal investigators, his delivery was postponed for today. This includes important testimonies of people who were involved in various cases and after the facts are recorded, it comes to conclusions and suggestions.

The three criminal investigators, Andreas Paschalidis, a former judge, and Panagiotis Pelagias and Agamemnon Dimitriou, former police officers, seem to conclude that there are testimonies that prove criminal and disciplinary offenses against various police officers, as well as police officers.

They blame those who manipulated the information transmitted earlier this year by Interpol Serbia, for the arrival in Cyprus of Serbian executors with the aim of committing murders and who reach the level of senior executives. The acts or omissions at the highest level for the fate of this information are also cauterized.

It is noted that the evaluation of the information was mishandled, as a result of which the murders were not prevented. The recommendations of the criminal investigators will be studied by the Attorney General and he will decide accordingly on the further ones.

Criminal investigators blame not only police and Central Prison officials for their contacts with a Serb convict.

Regarding the issue of the member of the Interpol Nicosia office, who accidentally called a Serbian criminal instead of the respective Serbian office, mishandling is attributed since he did not intend to inform him (the Serb) and a suggestion is made to consider a disciplinary investigation.

Regarding corruption issues arising from the quadruple murder in Ayia Napa, criminal investigators are also finding issues that are referred to the Attorney General.

It is noted that it is not excluded that the government will be informed about the finding, if the Prosecutor General deems it necessary.
