Last Monday, the Chief of Police, Zacharias Chrysostomou, had a meeting with the Mayor of Deryneia, Andros Karagiannis, and the new Municipal Council of the Akriti Municipality.
As mentioned in an announcement of the Municipality, the meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, with the common goal of the best possible cooperation and policing, for the benefit of the local community. Among other things, issues were discussed such as the further strengthening of security in the wider area of the Municipality of Deryneia, the service of citizens and the institutions of the Neighborhood Observer and the Green Line Observer.
The announcement states that the Mayor of Deryneia, addressing the Chief of Police, expressed his satisfaction for the excellent cooperation of his Municipality with the local Police Station and the Famagusta Police Department.
