Under the agreement, the general increases in staff salaries and pensions for retirees for the years 2015 and 2016 will be zero. For the salary list for the years 2017 and 2018, the two sides agreed on the introduction of a mechanism, with the participation of the contracting trade unions, through which the percentage increase in wage costs will not exceed the growth rate of nominal GDP.

Requests for concessions will be discussed in the framework of the institutionalized dialogue and if the growth rate of nominal GDP exceeds the concession of index increases and surcharges.

Finally, the two sides agreed that by the end of May 2017, in the context of the wider reform of the Provident Funds sector, the introduction of a Provident Fund for employees hired after October 2011 will be discussed and agreed upon, a regulation that will apply to other employees such as indefinite time workers.

Any additional issues that arise will be resolved within the framework of the Code of Industrial Relations and the MEE for the OPP.
