The Minister of Justice and Public Order, Ionas Nikolaou, gave instructions for conducting an administrative investigation regarding the escape during the extradition to the Nicosia District Court of the Ukrainian wanted by the same country, Kuzniepsov Arthur (Garibian).
Ionas Nikolaou was informed by the police chief, who in turn was informed immediately after the incident and asked for a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the escape.
According to credible sources of KYPE, the wanted person was brought to Court with a delay of half an hour.
The same information states that, when his handcuffs were removed to enter the courtroom for the examination of the application for his extradition, he fled and escaped on a motorcycle located in the courtyard of the Court.
Police Spokesman Andreas Angelidis told KYPE that immediately after the escape, police forces were mobilized to locate him, the entry and exit points from the Republic were immediately informed and instructions were given for an immediate investigation of the escape conditions.

The Minister of Justice, gave instructions for conducting an administrative investigation and for the case of the escape of the wanted Ukrainian millionaire Dmitry Gerasimenko.
Gerasimenko left the Larnaca District Court last December, in the dead time between the withdrawal of the first arrest warrant and the execution of the second, and is wanted.
As the Minister of Justice stated today in KYPE, the incidents cause concern. He added that he had given instructions for conducting an administrative investigation and that he would await the results of the investigation for further manipulation.
