Shocking details about the actions of the suspects before and after the quadruple murder committed in June 2016 in Ayia Napa, were presented before the Permanent Criminal Court meeting in Larnaca, Sofia Grigoriou, companion of Marios Christodoulos, otherwise Beni. The victims were the businessman Fanos Kalopsidiotis, the Hadjiefthymiou couple and one of the perpetrators.

According to what Grigoriou testified, Marios Christodoulos's father also seems to be involved in the case, as he said a few twenty-four hours after the murder was at his paternal home where they were arguing over the specific issue. The quarrels were heard by Christodoulos' father, who asked what was happening. Christodoulou and his father talked and then the latter advised them to go to a room of the house to agree on what to say to the Police.

Regarding the period before the murder, Grigoriou testified that Christodoulou had told her that they would go on vacation to the area of Protaras. For this purpose, they traveled from Nicosia to the tourist resort to prepay to the owner the house in which they would stay. He gave her 600 euros and asked her to get out of the car to pay the owner. She carried out Christodoulos' orders, however the owner of her house offered to take her on a tour of the premises. This fact infuriated Christodoulou, who was in the car. When he returned, he verbally and characteristically attacked her, as he told her that the owner did not want to see him.

When they arrived in Protaras for the promised vacation, a Honda vehicle was parked in the yard of the house, which Christodoulou asked her not to touch.
