Marios Christodoulou otherwise Benny, Panagiotis Pentavkas and Sofia Grigoriou did not plead guilty to the charges concerning, among others, the murder of Fanos Theofanos Kalopsidiotis, Elias and Skevi Hadjiefthymiou and Yani Vogli, which took place on the evening of the 23rd .

On the contrary, Charalambos Andreou admitted all 20 charges against him and in the next court hearing on October 20, 2016, the representative of the Prosecution Authority, Elli Papagapiou, will present the facts before the Permanent Criminal Court of Larnaca - Famagusta and the defendant may be sentenced.

Andreou's defense attorney told the court that his client intended to testify as a prosecution witness against his other five co-accused.

Among the accusations that Andreou admitted, apart from the quadruple murder, are also the accusations concerning attempted murder, against the well-known Alexoudios in Nicosia.

During today's proceedings, the fifth defendant, Sotira Neophytou, admitted only one charge, that of conspiracy after the crime and, according to her lawyer, she intends to testify as a prosecution witness.

It is expected that in the next trial the Prosecution Authority will present the facts and possibly a sentence will be imposed on Sotira Neophytou. Until then, the President of the Criminal Court ordered a report to be prepared by the Welfare Office on the financial and family conditions of the accused.

It is noted that Marios Christodoulou otherwise Benny, Panagiotis Pentavkas, Sofia Grigoriou 28 years old, and Charalambos Andreou face together the charges of conspiracy to murder, premeditated murder, attempted murder, acts aimed at provoking category B, possession of a Class A firearm, possession of a Class B firearm and possession of a Class A firearm.

Marios Christodoulou and Charalambos Andreou are also accused that together with Aleks Burrelli and the deceased Jani Vogli, between May and June 2016 in Nicosia they conspired to commit a crime, that is, to kill Alexis Mavromichalis and Iosis Christos Dimitriou otherwise Tsiakka from Nicosia.

The third defendant, Loy Dejan, for whom a report was prepared by the Welfare Office, did not respond to the 20 accusations leveled at the defendants today, and the Prosecution Authority agreed to provide him with legal assistance.

Following this development, Loy Dejan's defense attorney asked for time to consult with his client and respond to the charges against him at the next trial.

The representative of the Prosecution Authority requested that all six defendants remain in custody in the Central Prisons and their defense attorneys did not object. The six defendants entered the room without wearing bulletproof vests.

In the area of ​​the Court, early in the morning, there was a strong armored police force outside and inside the building as well as in the room of the Criminal Court.

In the corridor leading to the room of the Criminal Court, armed policemen were set up early, who did not allow anyone to enter.
