In a post on Twitter, the Minister Of Energy George Lakkotrypis presents the plans for the marina of Paralimni as they were approved after the securing of the tender for the lease of state space (land and sea).
The plans present the development of the marina of Paralimni as it was approved and registered in the company "PMV Maritime Holdings Ltd" following a decision of the Management Committee of the Marinas.
This tender was announced on June 16, 2015 with the company "PMV Maritime Holdings Ltd" submitting its bid on November 27, 2015.

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism announces that, following a relevant decision of the Marine Management Committee, it has sent a letter of award for the lease of state space (land and sea), for the development of Paralimni marina in the company PMV Marit Ltd ”.
It is noted that this tender was announced on June 16, 2015 and that the company "PMV Maritime Holdings Ltd" had submitted its bid on November 27, 2015.
According to the GTP, the Paralimni marina will be built in the area of the fishing shelter of Agios Nikolaos, in Paralimni, and is another important tourism infrastructure project for the province of Famagusta, which strengthens the Government's efforts to promote maritime tourism in Cyprus.
It will have a capacity of about 300 boats and will include administration buildings and residential and commercial developments. "

The Municipal Council of Paralimni welcomes the award of the Tender for PARALIMNI MARINA to the company PMV MARITIME HOLDINGS LTD.
It is a project that we have been expecting for fifteen years, worth 110 million euros, which will include tourism, commercial and residential development. The economic development prospects of the entire free Province of Famagusta are revived and great interest is expected for new investments in Protaras by foreign and local investors.
We expect the project to be ready in three years. With similar developments, we estimate that more than 600 new jobs will be created.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank the President of the Republic for the efforts of the Government, so that the project is implemented and for his full support in the efforts made so that the whole province regains its lost dignity.
