Major issues concerning Ayia Napa were raised before the Minister of Transport and Works Mr. Marios Dimitriadis, the Mayor Mr. Giannis Karousos, in a meeting held today, Tuesday 9 May, at the Ministry and which was also attended by Members of the Municipal Council. Deputy Municipal Secretary Mr. Athos Georgiou and Senior Officials of the Ministry.
Specifically, the issues related to the improvement of the Road Network, sidewalks and bicycle paths on Nisi and Cape Greco Avenues, the creation of a Mooring on the south side of the Fishing Shelter, the solution of the erosion problem at Pantahos beach and the Torno-Abbas area.
During the meeting, the relevant actions to be taken for the implementation of the above projects were also examined and instructions were given by the Minister to the competent officials to find the necessary solutions so that the projects for implementation can proceed immediately.
