Audi presents a very interesting concept in Beijing, which shows its intentions to develop a crossover model based on the TT.
Obviously Audi intends to expand the range of the third generation TT and a crossover version is clearly of the greatest commercial interest.
The original TT offroad concept located in the capital of the great Asian country as a coupe with the usability of a compact SUV has a hybrid drive system, which includes the 4-cylinder 2.0 TFSI of 292 PS and two electric motors, with 115 PS.
The combined power of the Audi TT offroad concept amounts to 408 hp and 650 Nm of torque. The Germans announced acceleration from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 5,2 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 250 kilometers per hour (130 when the car is powered only by electricity).
Only with the electric function it can cover a distance of 50 kilometers, while its total autonomy amounts to approximately 880 kilometers (The weight distribution of the car is 54:46). Fuel consumption is 1,9 liters / 100 km, with corresponding CO2 emissions of 45 g / km.
In terms of dimensions, it is 8 cm smaller than Q3. If more cargo space is required, the rear seats fold almost flat.
