The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 4.493. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3.492.268 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.
The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 559 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 140.705 (3.9% of the total number of positive results).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 is 17, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29.997 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 110 (60.9% men). Their median age is 70 years. 91.8% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 51 (46.36%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 59 (53.64%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4.696 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admissions of new patients COVID-19 in the hospitals of the territory is 86 (daily change -15.69%).
