The number of coronavirus cases announced by EODY amounts to 4.493, of which 559 relate to possible re-infections. There are 17 new deaths, while 100 patients are being treated by intubation.

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 4.493. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3.492.268 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.

The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 559 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 140.705 (3.9% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 is 17, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29.997 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 110 (60.9% men). Their median age is 70 years. 91.8% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 51 (46.36%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 59 (53.64%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4.696 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admissions of new patients COVID-19 in the hospitals of the territory is 86 (daily change -15.69%). The average seven-day admission is 91 patients. The median age of cases is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of death is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
