The curtain opens again today at the Mixed Jury Court of Athens, after the summer holidays, at trial of Petros Filippidis. The well-known actor, who since the beginning of last July he is out of prison by court decision (his temporary detention was replaced with conditions), is on trial for two attempted rapes and one rapeat the expense of three of his female colleagues.

Today's hearing expected to continue with witness testimony, who is friendly with the third woman who reported the actor for attempted rape in his car in July 2014. This woman had seen the complainant shortly after the sexual assault, which, according to the indictment, she received from the actor and as she testified, the girl gave her the impression that "she had lived the worst nightmare of her life".

Among other things, in her testimony, the witness had mentioned about the complainant: "I've known her since 2007, we had common interests, bonded and had a close friendship. In 2014 we were working together on a show and sometime in July, very happy, she told me that a well-known actor approached her with messages for cooperation, after seeing photos from the tour. She thought that an acquaintance with a well-known actor would help her a lot. After days, he told me that he arranged a meeting with the actor and told me then that it was Petros Filippidis.... We had arranged on the day of the date, after the meeting, to meet to go to the show together. Indeed, around 5-6 we met and when I saw her I was scared. The girl was another person. She was dark, speechless, thoughtful, as if something very terrible had happened to her. I asked her what happened and she was unable to answer. He only told me that it was bad, that the meeting went bad too how he attacked her. She couldn't speak, she was ready to cry. Since we had to go to the show I didn't push her more at that time. Over the next few days, when he somewhat calmed down, he began to tell details. He told me he had a nightmare. It was the worst nightmare of her life and she wouldn't wish that on anyone.".

Continuing, the witness had referred to the attempted rape of the complainant, describing what she had conveyed to her: "They met in a cafe to give him her resume, then Mr. Filippidis he offered to take her home. She refused but he was upright, he would not object. Wanting to be polite and hoping to discuss something more with him, she accepted. They started off, but after a while he drove her to a dead end, where he turned off the fuses. She became very afraid, she did not understand. He suddenly he began to tame her. She didn't imagine it. He opened his pants, grabbed her by the neck and he pressed her against his genitals. She she was squealing, shouting, trying to push him away, he would not stop, he continued obsessively. She was trapped and couldn't do anything to protect herself except to resist with all her might. While at first she seemed to be teasing him, at some point I don't know why, irritated, he opened the door, cursed her and threw her out...".

Today, this particular witness is expected to be examined by the defense attorneys of P. Filippidis, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos and Kiki Bakirtzidou, and once her examination is completed on the stand, it is possible that the father of the second woman, who has denounced the actor for attempted rape in the dressing room, will take the stand theater. The statement of a friend of the same complainant will follow, while the statements of the president of SEH Sp. Bibila and the wife of Petros Filippidis, Elpida Nino, will follow in subsequent sessions of the court.
