Tragedy occurred shortly after 11:00 in the morning in Kalamata, when an Air Force training aircraft crashed under unspecified circumstances, resulting in the tragic death of its pilot.
It is a two-seater training aircraft, type T-2 of the 120th training wing, in which only the officer who lost his life was on board.
The fall has taken place under so far unspecified circumstances, 500 meters north of the airport gate, near the Ari area in Mikromani.
