The community of Almyros is shocked, as, shortly before the end of the local bazaar, a 14-year-old girl from the area was fatally injured by a toy.
According to information from magnesianews, the 14-year-old had climbed in one of the amusement park games, the so-called "carpet" and, under hitherto unknown circumstances, fell, hit another toy and then fell into the void, having suffered serious injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the rotation in the game was coming to an end, the "carpet" developed high speed, either due to damage or due to incorrect handling by its operator, resulting in the occupants being terrified and starting to scream.
The ambulance of the Almyros Health Center rushed to the spot, a fire truck and a police vehicle and transported the 14-year-old to the Health Center. The doctors made every effort, but the 14-year-old succumbed to her very serious injuries.
At the time of the accident, the bazaar was full of people who could not believe that this tragedy had happened.
According to larissanet.gr, the police have arrested the owner of the amusement park, while the investigation for the safety conditions and the conditions under which the child was found in the void is in progress, as a result of which he lost his life.
