Bartholomew "I feel very well - The operation had to be done"

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew had a serious adventure with his health, who was in the United States of America for the opening of the Holy Temple of St. Nicholas at "Point Zero".

The Patriarch spoke after the adventure of his health on ERT, evaluating his 12-day visit. In fact, he said that he is proud of the Greek community for its vitality and achievements.

The operation needed to be done

As His Holiness said, "finally good, all is well". "I feel very well, thank God. It was a small adventure, it lasted very little time. "Of course, the heart attack, if I may call it that, was somewhat serious and the operation had to be done," said the Ecumenical Patriarch. As he said, he continues his program normally and so on November 20 he will be in Athens where he will celebrate the 30 years of his Patriarchate.

The Ecumenical Patriarch spoke warmly about the personality and work of the Archbishop of America Hopeful, whom he described as "a man of ours through the bowels of the Lantern." His Holiness leaves unexpectedly on Sunday for Istanbul.
