Today is an important day as the results of the toxicological examinations of 24-year-old Georgia Bika are expected for the case of the gang rape in a hotel in Thessaloniki on New Year's Eve, while the circle of witnesses is opening.
According to information, from the first results of the DNA examination, a sperm stain was found on the sleeve of the 24-year-old and biological material was found on the front of her clothes, while no material was found on her underwear and the controversial parts of her body.
However, the results of the toxicological tests are expected to shed light on the case, part of which is expected to be handed over to the investigator today, Friday 28 January, by the Greek laboratories.
The full picture, however, will be formed at the end of next week, as then it is estimated that the results sent to the Swiss laboratory in Bern will be ready in order to reach the final conclusion.
It is noted that on Thursday, once again, the professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nikos Raikos, was in the investigator's office. He did not hand over the file with the results of the toxicological examinations of the 24-year-old, however he was in the courthouse for information.
