Stormy developments after Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of the United States from the agreement on Iran's nuclear program. The US president put his words into action and during a press conference he gave to the White House, said that the next step is to impose strong sanctions on Iran which, as later announced, will target important sectors of the Iranian economy, such as energy. petrochemicals and the financial sector.

"Those who continue to do business with Iran will have a period of time to gradually reduce their work related to Iran," the statement said.

TRUMP

The US President reiterated his position that this agreement did not bring and is not going to bring results, but on the contrary has discouraged the regime in Iran.

"It was a terrible corporate agreement that should never have been made. "It did not bring peace, it did not bring peace and it will never bring them," he said.

"The Iranian regime is a state that leads and sponsors terrorism. "It exports dangerous missiles, triggers clashes across the Middle East and supports terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas, the Taliban and Al Qaeda."

The first reactions

The reaction of the French President Emanuel Macron was immediate.

"France, Germany and the United Kingdom regret the US decision to withdraw from the agreement," he tweeted.

At the same time in Israel it is reported that "unusual activity of Iranian forces is observed in Syria" and that air force forces flew to the northern part of the country.

A statement from the Israeli Armed Forces stated that "defense systems have been activated and troops are ready to attack."
