Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called US President Joe Biden's statement on the Armenian Genocide "completely false."

The Turkish President, after a meeting of the Council of Ministers, said that "Biden's statement contains completely false reports. Mr. Biden must first know the history well, otherwise it is unacceptable to stand up and try to challenge Turkey. "We must not forget that the Armenian community will suffer more from this hypocrisy."

Commenting on his meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Erdogan said: "We have thoroughly assessed the current situation and the steps that can be taken. First of all, we make every effort for a ceasefire and lasting peace. There will be a meeting with Putin. "We are negotiating an end to the war."
