Photographs posted on social media sites in Düsseldorf show protesters holding a banner with the slogan:

"Afrin will become our Vietnam. We will defeat fascism. "

Also, about 200 protesters marched in the German capital, holding Kurdish flags and shouting "Afrin", the name of the Kurdish enclave targeted by Turkish forces.

A group of protesters began throwing stones at a building in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin, apparently in response to the provocative behavior of one of the occupants of the apartment building.

According to the owner of a nearby cafe, the occupant of the building was holding and waving a Turkish flag, while the crowd was passing by the area.

Dozens of riot police were deployed at the scene and several of them rushed against the protesters, immobilizing at least 3 on the road and removing them.
Authorities have not yet made a formal report of the arrests or injuries. However, a journalist from the German News Agency (dpa) reported that he saw a woman sitting on the sidewalk with a head injury.

A march of about 400 protesters took place last night in Hamburg, northern Germany, outside the Russian and Turkish consulates general, according to a police spokesman. Some of the protesters threw stones at the two buildings, causing minor property damage.

Railway problems in Manchester
At the same time, a demonstration against Ankara operations in Syria has caused serious problems for rail services in Manchester, Britain, while one of the city's main train stations has been temporarily closed.

Piccadilly train station in the British city was closed in the afternoon after protesters stormed the lines, according to a spokesman for the British Transport Police. The station reopened later.

In a video broadcast by British websites, the protesters can be seen descending on the rails. The Kurdish militia carried flags of the People's Protection Units (YPG) and photographs of Abdullah Ocalan, the imprisoned PKK leader.
