The strange method followed by a woman to have a child

After four miscarriages, a woman from Britain decided to follow a στική more drastic method to finally have a baby.

Kathryn Berrisford learned that her tissue was very similar to her husband's and doctors advised her that in order to have a successful pregnancy she would have to have an allergy to her husband's sperm.

According to a BBC report, in order to achieve this, the doctors injected white blood cells of her partner into the 47-year-old British woman, which made her body recognize his sperm as a "foreign body".

The leukocyte immunotherapy allowed the fertilization of her eggs and so the woman finally managed to give birth to her first baby in 2005.

The 47-year-old British woman revealed that her case was extremely rare and the doctors came to this conclusion, after they had first ruled out any other possible cause of miscarriage.

Kathryn Berrisford stressed that she went on to inform her problem, in order to inform other women who may be in the same situation with her, that there is a cure.
