Another horror story with a girl victim comes from India, the country where rape and crimes against women are a daily occurrence.
A 16-year-old girl was found murdered and mutilated by the police, when the parents reported the disappearance of their daughter to the authorities. They even stated that their child had been raped and that they later lost track of him.
Investigating the crime, however, the authorities came to the horrible truth: The girl was a victim of her own parents, who killed her out of honor.
What was the sin of the minor?
She had been stolen with a man, but returned home three days later. The parents could not stand the insult, that is, she returned, and decided to kill her. In fact, in their attempt to disappear their traces, they asked for the help of a family friend, who is a butcher and who finally cut the unfortunate girl!
It was this man who finally confessed to the crime to the authorities, who arrested him and the parents of the sixteen-year-old in Bihar province.
In 2016, 69 honor crimes were recorded in India, although women's rights activists believe that the real number is much higher.
