What mortality statistics show in at least 14 countries - How are the 45 thousand more deaths justified than the average

How many have actually been killed by the new coronavirus pandemic? Are all the victims of the disease that has plagued humanity in recent months being recognized? What is the scenario resulting from the comparative mortality statistics? The numbers, as shown in at least 14 countries, confirm the worst case scenario. The probability of error of up to 60% in estimating the victims of the pandemic Covid-19!

According to the Financial Times analysis for at least 14 countries, mortality statistics show an additional 122.000 deaths from the 77.000 reported, which, if confirmed, would bring a huge increase in casualties worldwide with the death toll reaching about 318.000.

To calculate deaths, FT compared deaths from all causes in March and April with the average deaths for the same time periods from 2015 to 2019.

The number of additional 122.000 deaths corresponds to an increase of 50% compared to the average of the periods examined. In all countries except Denmark, the extra deaths far exceed official figures for corona losses.

The accuracy of official virus statistics is limited, depending on how effective the testing process is in each country. Some states, including China, have already revised up the death toll.

According to the Financial Times analysis, the death rate rises by 60% in Belgium, 51% in Spain, 42% in the Netherlands and 34% in France, compared to previous years. Some of these deaths could have come from other causes and not from Covid-19, as people began to avoid hospitals due to pandemic. But mortality has risen sharply in areas hit by the worst outbreaks of the coronavirus, indicating that most of these deaths are related to the virus or quarantine side effects.

According to Cambridge Professor David Spiegelhalter, daily counts in Britain were much lower because they only counted hospital deaths. "The only impartial comparison one can make between different states is by looking at all the deaths. "There are so many questions about the rise of victims that the coronavirus is not mentioned in the death certificates, and yet we feel that they are fatally connected to the pandemic", he emphasizes characteristically.

In the northern Italian province of Lombardy, the epicenter of the eruption in Europe, there are an estimated 13.000 more deaths than in the official figures of the 1.7000 municipalities in the region. This is 155% of the historical average and a much larger number than the 4.348 losses officially announced.

In Ecuador's Guayaquil province, only 245 deaths have been reported in connection with the corona between March 1 and April 15, but the figures show that the total number of deaths during this period is about 10.200 more. The numbers mark an increase of 350% over a typical year.

In New York there is a 200% increase, in Madrid of 161%.

In the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, burial figures show an increase of 1.4000 deaths compared to the historical average for the same period, 15 times higher than the 90 reported deaths.

In England and Wales the death toll in the second week of April was the highest in a century and 76 percent higher for the same week over the past five years. At the same time, it was 58% higher than the official death toll from the pandemic.

Experts, according to the Financial Times, warn that there is a significantly lower number of recorded deaths in elderly shelters. Even the highest numbers of deaths recorded in the pandemic may be conservative, as deaths from other causes, such as road accidents, have almost disappeared.
