The death of a 33-year-old woman who fell from a height of 30 meters while posing for a photo by her husband has caused shock in Belgium. The accident with victim Zoe Snoeks occurred on Tuesday during an excursion with her husband Joeri Janssen.
According to the first information, the 33-year-old was standing on the edge of a cliff when she lost her balance and fell into the river that was at a depth of 30 meters.
What few people know when reading the tragic news, is that 33-year-old Zoe, originally from Gerani, Rethymno and her last name is Marinaki, however she herself had chosen to keep her mother's last name, when her parents divorced.
According to cretalive, the tragic game of fate is that the aunt of the 33-year-old who lives in Rethymno to this day, had lost her son in a car accident two years ago.
On her personal Facebook page are hundreds of messages of condolence from people who knew her.
