Authorities in the United Kingdom have announced another 17.269 confirmed cases of the Omicron variant.
In total, the incidents that have been identified are 177.201. About 1/4 of them have been located in London.
The total number of suspected cases detected in the country is 390.936.
The number of Omicron patients has increased by 261, ie to 668, compared to the previous measurement. It is not specified, however, how many of them were admitted to the hospital due to coronavirus symptoms and how many were diagnosed positive after being admitted for another reason.
27% of Omicron confirmed patients are unvaccinated.
