An 8-year-old girl who was gang-raped by 16 relatives in India has died.
The child was taken to the hospital with stomach pains, while he had fainted in the bathroom of his house.
The little girl was found unconscious by his parents, who had to break down the door to enter the bathroom.
The little girl herself confessed the horrible truth to her parents in the hospital, shortly before she fell into a coma and “passed away”.
All 16 relatives have been arrested and remain in custody.
In 2018 the Government had announced the death penalty to those who rape children and in fact has applied it to the two unique incidents that had occurred since then.
