The Israeli army today killed a Palestinian man who tried to stab an Israeli soldier in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli army and the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
Gofran Warasna, 31, was shot in the chest by the Israeli army near the al-Arub refugee camp in the Hebron area, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Israeli army said it had "neutralized" an armed perpetrator with a knife approaching a soldier.
