Four people were killed and 20 were trapped on the fifth floor of a hotel in the Philippine capital, Manila, where a fire broke out, a rescue worker said.
About 20 people are trapped at the Manila Pavilion Hotel, Johnny Yu, director of the Philippine Disaster Management Bureau, told dZMM radio.
"We have information from the Fire Department that there are 5 to 19 people trapped on the 20th floor, but they are alive," Yu said.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The hotel is owned by Waterfront Philippines Inc.
