Italian caretaker Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has completed his meetings with political forces and said he would dedicate the entire day today, Friday, to the precise definition of the program and the governing group.
Conte, before leaving parliament, where he met with party representatives, told reporters that the ministers he would nominate would be politicians and that his government intended to compensate citizens who had lost money due to the bankruptcy of banking institutions.
According to press reports, Professor Conte is expected to present the list of Ministers to the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Matarella, at the latest at the weekend, when the new Government will have to be sworn in.
All this, of course, provided that there will be no objections from Matarelas, for the names that will be proposed to be taken over by the various Ministries.
