According to the palace, the monarch is facing «mild symptoms "which looks like a cold," but she expects to continue her "light duties" in Windsor next week.
"He will continue to receive medical care and follow all appropriate instructions," the palace said in a statement.
The queen had contacted her eldest son and heir, the Prince of Wales, who tested positive last week.
