Two trains collided nearby in the Austrian capital Vienna. More than a dozen people were injured, the local transport company confirmed.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. local time near Kritzendorf station, north of Vienna. Roman Hahslinger, a spokesman for the railway company OBB, said a Railjet train with 30 people on board stuck in a void, causing the Railjet train to overturn.
Η cause of the collision is still unknown.
Rescue services had to release some of the trapped passengers from the wagons, authorities said. A rail replacement bus is set up to service the route.
